PHX Wins 13-19 Champs

What a weekend!  For the first time in our short (3.5 years) but decorated history Phoenix Swimming managed to finsih first at 13-19 Champs by over 500+ points!

It was great to see all 13 and Over swimmers contribute to the TEAM's success as well as strive for personal accolades.

Achievements at the meet include:

13-14 Boys setting a new 200 Medley Record.  The group included Sebby Melendez, Nick Diebold, Christian Schoen, and Adi Arifovic.

13-14 Boys High Point Places:  Sebby Melendez 2nd place

                                                 Adi Arifovic 4th place

                                                 Christian Schoen 8th place

15-18 Girls High Point Places:  Haley Nolan 3rd place

                                                Miranda An 7th place

15-18 Boys High Point Places:  Will Pannos 1st place

                                                 Jason Jung 4th place

                                                 Joseph Turk 5th place

                                                 Michael Walsh 6th place

Also a congratulations to Anna Carroll (200 Fly) and Bella Garbacz (100 Breast) who achieved their first Sectionals Cuts!  Nice Job Girls!

Congratulations to all swimmers on PHX.  This was a team achievement and should be celebrated as such.  Enjoy the moment - digest it - and move forward - as Long Course is right around the corner.  Awesome Job!
